2026年2月28日(土)〜3月16日(月)に「仲町の家 パイロットプログラム」として展示「The Morphology of Shifting Interstices うつろうかたち」が開催されます。

仲町の家では「音まち千住の縁」の主催事業だけでなく、さまざまな方々や団体と共に家の活用法や可能性を探っていく「パイロットプログラム」を開催しています。

The Morphology of Shifting Interstices うつろうかたち

グループ展「The The Morphology of Shifting Interstices うつろうかたち」は、歴史ある仲町の家を舞台に、展示空間を能動的な間(interval)の連なりとして提示し、存在・不在の二項対立を打ち消す。「間（Ma）」という視座を通してこの場所を問い直し、間隙(interstice)を分離ではなく「形而上学的な持続」——空間的な体験の「呼吸のリズム」を支える結束力として機能させる。

アーティストの何子洋、稲垣千佳、FFは住まいの構造単位に着目し、この空間を固定された体積ではなく四次元的な構造として再提示する。「無音、静かな間」は動的な緊張として機能し、現実の質感を定義する、複雑な音に対する均衡となる。本展では「うつろい」の瞬間的な変化を知覚可能にすることで、鑑賞者の移動を時間の流れへと変容させ、認識の様態を「間(interval)」のもつ流動的で生き生きとした性質へと調和させる。

Situated within the historic Nakacho House, The Morphology of Shifting Interstices posits the exhibition environment as a sequence of active intervals, rejecting the binary of presence and absence. The project interrogates the site through the lens of Ma, where the interstice operates not as a separation, but as a “metaphysical continuance”—a binding force that sustains the “breathing rhythm” of the spatial experience.

Artists Ho Tsz Yeung, Chika Inagaki, and FF articulate the “structural unit” of the dwelling, revealing the site not as a fixed volume but as a “four-dimensional structure.” Here, the “soundless, silent Ma” acts as a dynamic tension, a “balance against a complex note” that defines the texture of reality. By rendering the “momentary shift” of Utsuroi perceptible, the exhibition transforms the viewer’s navigation into a “time flow,” where the “mode of cognition” aligns with the fluid, living nature of the interval.
